Finland is recognized as the safest country in the world in 2017. This is reported in the report of the World Economic Forum (WEF), published on the official website of the organization.

 

The rating of tourism security includes 136 countries. In the top five, apart from Finland, the United Arab Emirates, Iceland, Oman and Hong Kong are located in descending order. On 108th place - Peru, on 110 - Cameroon. Of the popular tourist countries, it is worth mentioning Spain - 18th place, Czechia - 30, Germany - 51, Vietnam - 57, Italy - 70, Turkey - 116, Thailand - 118.

 

We also note the most dangerous areas for tourism. Here in the top five are Colombia, Yemen, Salvador, Pakistan, Nigeria.

 

When creating a security rating, criteria such as the situation with crime in the country, including terrorism, military conflicts, the level of people's confidence in law enforcement bodies, the ability of guards to protect citizens and other parameters are taken into account.
