Privacy and Lombok - practically synonymous. The tourist infrastructure is most developed in the western part of the island Sendzhidzhi (Senggigi). There tourists can engage with full dedication and doing nothing shopping. 

 

The island is famous for its pottery, silk and fabrics with gold and silver thread, created by hand by local artisans.
